The birch bark for handle crafting is about 3 mm thick and compresses by approximately 25% when pressed.

From one strip of the set, you can cut 20 squares of 5×5 cm. This gives you the following potential handle height per strip:

20 × 3 mm = 60 mm × 75 % = 45 mm (4.5 cm)
