Use
Suede leather is often used to make handles (drumsticks, rawhide drums, various medieval weapons) due to its special properties compared to conventional leather. In the Middle Ages, this type of leather was particularly popular for making bows and swords, as it offers a good and firm grip and is also very resistant to perspiration when properly processed. Nowadays it is often found in shoes, bags and jackets.
