Every dog owner is certainly familiar with the fancy dog chews from the pet store. Few people know that these are usually made from the hides of factory-farmed animals and are usually infused with flavors so that the dogs love the fancy chewing bones!

Our dog chewing gum is made from the same raw material, but is a blend of the highest quality raw hides available. Because we cut the skins for craftsmanship, instrument making and historical re-enactment. In these areas, the highest quality and a rawhide that is chemically uncontaminated are expected.

We leave the skin pieces as they are. The dog chewing gum contains no chemicals and no additional flavorings.

Look after us, the skins are not pressed into fancy bones. These are offcuts that you can order in 100g increments or in 3 or 5kg packages. The dog doesn’t really care what it looks like.

The main thing is that it tastes good! And it does! Regularly quality tested on our own 5 dogs!

1 piece corresponds to 100 grams

Packages of 3 or 5 kg can be ordered, which include a discount. Then 1 ordered package would contain 3kg or 5kg of rawhide. 2 piece package would mean 6 or 10kg. So it doesn’t make much sense to order a 3kg package in more pieces. Then take a 5 kg package instead.

Dog chewing gum for every taste:

– The hunter in the dog: Wild boar rawhide from wild German wild boar. Coarser structure and tough. Higher fat content compared to the other skins

– The gourmet in dogs: rawhide from fallow deer and red deer living in German forests. Fine-pored, supple and soft.

– The shepherd in the dog: goat rawhide from happy breeding animals, fine and thin. Ideal for small dogs.

– The aristocrat in the dog: horse rawhide from breeding animals. Thick and robust. You’ve been chewing for longer!

– The hipster in dogs: rawhide. Very thick and rigid. A good piece for longer chewing!

We obtain our rawhide from a German tanner who obtains the hides in the traditional way.
