The bread containers are made of double-layered birch bark reinforced by a wooden stick frame

Bread bins made of birch bark are also very easy to clean. If dirty, simply wipe through with a damp cloth. For heavier soiling, you can also rinse with vinegar. No detergents and dishwashers please! This makes the birch bark (like all wood) brittle.
